  4. Thank you for your interest in PC-Vault and for testing this beta version. 
  5. The file PCV.ZIP contains the beta test version of PC-Vault or PC-Vault Plus
  6. that you asked for.  We have tried this version on a number of computers and
  7. believe that it is correct.  However, it has not been sufficiently tested to
  8. be a released product.  It may contain errors which could destroy some or all
  9. of the data on your hard disk(s).  Therefore, do not use this beta version
  10. until you have a current back-up of your hard disk(s).  Neither Johnson
  11. Computer Systems nor any other person or legal entity makes any warranty
  12. whatsoever concerning this software.  You agree to accept it as is, to bear
  13. full responsibility for its use, and to have a current backup of all of your
  14. data.

  16. We want to limit distribution of this beta version because if it does contain
  17. any errors we do not want them affecting large numbers of users.  At some
  18. point in the future we may no longer be familiar with this version and may be
  19. unable to help effectively.  Therefore:  You agree not to use this software or
  20. allow anyone else to use it without the permission of Johnson Computer
  21. Systems, Inc.  You also agree not to use any of this software after July 31,
  22. 1993.  You should be using a released version after this date.

  25. on which you run this software within 5 days of the time you begin to use it. 
  26. You also agree to promptly report any other problem you experience.  You agree
